A digital campaign experience that turned everyday gatherings into something a bit more indulgent and distinctly Boursin.
the challenge
Boursin wanted to build awareness during a time when people were staying close to home but craving meaningful experiences. Summer 2021 saw a surge in outdoor living, with backyards and campsites becoming the center of connection. The challenge was to meet that moment in a way that felt both relevant and inspiring, while encouraging new ways to use the product.
the insight
People weren’t just looking for things to buy, they were looking for experiences to share. There was a clear shift toward making everyday moments feel special, even at home. Boursin naturally fits into that mindset, adding a sense of ease and elevation to simple gatherings.
the solution
I led the design of a digital experience centered around the Glamp Boursin contest, inviting fans to reimagine their own backyard as a culinary escape. The site guided users through the contest while also offering recipes and a Pinterest-inspired board to bring the idea to life at home. By translating the campaign into a clear, intuitive experience, we helped the client visualize how it would all come together.
the results
The campaign drew nearly 60,000 users to the experience, generating over 16,000 meaningful interactions across the site. Visitors engaged with contest content, recipes, and inspiration, with many returning to explore ideas for their own backyard gatherings. In a moment when connection looked different, the experience positioned Boursin as a simple way to make it feel a little more special.
